Important Tax Information

Members may be eligible to deduct interest on the purchase of a new vehicle beginning in tax year 2025. Interest paid on certain loans for qualified new vehicles may be deductible if you meet IRS eligibility requirements.This deduction generally applies to vehicles used for personal purposes that were manufactured within the U.S. Your interest on a new vehicle can be found on your December statement in the “year to date” field.

Tax Forms Available in December Statements

Members who receive IRS Form 1099 or 1098 from TruService will find those forms included with their December statements. These documents provide important information for tax filing and should be kept with your tax records.
